Welcome to the world of Liza Dries, where her daydreams merge into a playful soundscape with digital elements and her soft voice. The Groningen-born, Cologne-based artist released her debut EP Tegenkomer (Countercounter) in April 2021 — a five-track release that tells a story about her colliding emotions through contemporary, atmospheric sounds and Dutch lyrics. With a growing interest in the crossovers of software development, music production and performance, she continues to work on her first fully self-produced EP that will be released this fall. Her new songs play with elements of sincerity and authenticity, drawing inspiration from the modern alternative future-pop sounds of Oklou, Sega Bodega and Eartheater.

Welkom in de wereld van Liza Dries, waar haar dagdromen uitmonden in een speelse soundscape met digitale elementen en haar zachte stem. De in Groningen geboren, in Keulen gevestigde artieste bracht in april 2021 haar debuut-EP Tegenkomer uit — een vijf tracks tellende release die een verhaal vertelt over haar botsende emoties door middel van eigentijdse, atmosferische geluiden en Nederlandse teksten.
