Cloudy was born in the Caribbean island of Curacao and you can definitely hear the island resonating in his music. He combines wavy and airy trap productions, with tropical R&B hooks and verses. Together with producers Kamilla and Obey Reilly, Cloudy is team Dark Nimbuz. Working from their studio in Groningen & Amsterdam they do everything themselves: writing, producing, mixing and making their own visuals. Cloudy is as versatile as they come: a great singer and rapper, a happy character that draws the attention everywhere he goes, and foremost a wonderful performer. Some of the performances he did included Aarhus Volume in Denmark, ESNS 2019 and Noorderzon festival in Groningen. In the quarantine year of 2020 Cloudy Diow released his second EP called Chapter Two: Incendium on which he showed a more diverse and lively side, using guitars and singing in his mother tongue Papiamento. The mix of Papiamento and English in his music is something you seldom hear. In 2021 Cloudy worked on his first Album, which is to be released next fall. Together with his live Guitarist and DJ Cloudy took the last months to create a spectacular live show. The stage is where cloudy’s music really comes to life.

Cloudy is geboren op het Caribische eiland Curaçao en je kunt het eiland zeker terughoren in zijn muziek. Hij combineert wavy en airy trap producties, met tropische R&B hooks en verses. Samen met producers Kamilla en Obey Reilly vormt Cloudy team Dark Nimbuz. Werkend vanuit hun studio in Groningen & Amsterdam doen ze alles zelf: schrijven, produceren, mixen en ze maken hun eigen visuals. Cloudy is zo veelzijdig als maar kan: een geweldige zanger en rapper, een vrolijk karakter dat overal waar hij komt de aandacht trekt en bovenal een geweldige performer. Enkele optredens die hij deed waren onder andere Aarhus Volume in Denemarken, ESNS 2019 en Noorderzon festival in Groningen. In het quarantainejaar 2020 bracht Cloudy Diow zijn tweede EP uit genaamd Chapter Two: Incendium waarop hij zich van een meer diverse en levendige kant liet zien, gebruik makend van gitaren en zingend in zijn moedertaal Papiamento. De mix van Papiamento en Engels in zijn muziek is iets wat je zelden hoort. In 2021 werkte Cloudy aan zijn eerste album, dat komend najaar moet uitkomen. Samen met zijn live Gitarist en DJ nam Cloudy de laatste maanden de tijd om een spectaculaire live show neer te zetten. Het podium is de plek waar de muziek van Cloudy echt tot leven komt.
