As a young writer and performer, born in a female body, he tells a story of transformation with text and a physical performance. A story about the pressure you can feel as a first daughter of a father, while you don’t want to be a daughter. The audience is the society; the voices in his head, they are the woman that Anne Chris leaves behind. They are mother, father, lovers; they are the possible versions of ourselves. The audience is being watched, addressed, questioned, mocked at and is made part of the performance. Without spectator, no gender spectacle.
