Mercy John’s second album succeeds his appraised debut ‘This Ain’t New York’. His first album opened many doors for the down-to-earth singer, among which a performance at the Naked Song Festival, and a tour with JW Roy and Danny Vera.
After a period of overwhelming schedules, he showed endless energy and willingness to work hard. Mercy John’s new album was written in this period, which made it an album that is not so much dark, as it is mature. It is clear to see that the singer-songwriter gained experience and self-awareness. His motto? Try to take life a little less serious and enjoy the little things.
