Jemma Bartlett

Jemma is a vibrant Australian saxophonist with a knack for engaging audiences with her sonic versatility and innovative concert experiences. A recent graduate from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she is currently based in Rotterdam studying her Masters of Music at Codarts under internationally renowned saxophonist Femke IJlstra.  She fuels her strong commitment to chamber music by being a founding member of the Echo Saxophone Quartet and the Mas Ensemble. She has won a number of chamber music competitions and has given many concerts throughout Australia and the Netherlands. Jemma thrives as an orchestral saxophonist and has enjoyed playing with the Woollongong Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Conservatorium of Music Orchestra, Prins Claus Conservatoire Orchestra and the Beecroft Orchestra.  Jemma is consolidating her skills for her newly found passion for interdisciplinary experiences; she is currently working on a number of projects with circus artists, visual artists and animators.
